Press Release

cropped-BWPlogo.pngBritish Wrestling Pictures is pleased to announce the launch of a new and improved website for its action and posing wrestling photography.

The launch of the new website coincides with the 15th anniversary of the first live event Sarah Barraclough-Hatch, lead photographer at British Wrestling Pictures, took pictures at. Having taken pictures at live events ever since, Sarah is one of the most experienced photographers on the British Wrestling scene and has been ringside and backstage for promotions such as Revolution Pro Wrestling, IPW:UK, All Star Promotions, Fight Nation, and TNA/Impact Wrestling.

Pictures from these promotions and many more will now be available easily available to order as high-quality prints through the website. The full archive will be moved from its current location (http://albums.britishwrestlingpictures.com) to the new site in the coming weeks along with images from all the most recent events as they happen.

Sarah Barraclough-Hatch, owner and lead photographer at British Wrestling Pictures, said: “This has been a long time coming.  I am pleased with the rise in British Wrestling and the demand for high quality images to assist with providing this service for fans, and media outlets.”

Welcome to the new site!

Wow.  Its finally happened – I’ve gone and replaced the site.

It has been a long time in the making, finding the right platforms to run on.  We have been working hard in the background doing this, while also making sure we are at all the shows we can be at.

Why have we made this change?  The biggest reason was the gallery pages we were using before not being able to keep up with what we wanted to do – including increased functionality for fans and wrestlers alike.

Highlights:
  • Images are now available to purchase directly from the website – if there is an image you like, and it is available to buy, you can add it to your basket and it is sent to you (without the copyrights – these are only there for the web).
  • Ability for images to be licensed directly from the site – to the direct image – making it easier for magazines, newspapers, and websites to use our images for publicity.
  • The merging of the current client galleries in to the site – making it easier and quicker for you to get your images after a shoot – and the ability to order prints direct for the album.
  • Then there’s a load of techy bits (such as improved SEO etc) but you all don’t need to know about that – I’ll leave the nerd hat alone 🙂

Either way – it improves things for you – the fans of the site to see what we can do!
